January is "All About Me!'"

This month, the children focus on what makes them special. They will observe similarities and differences between their classmates and families by graphing eye and hair colors. They’ll sculpt their homes, school and parks out of playdough, and spend time dressing up and engaging in dramatic play as community helpers. We’ll read books about accepting our differences, and sing songs about our strong bodies and minds.

We’re excited to have visitors from the Liberty Hill Police Department, Liberty Hill Public Library, local teachers, Amazing Athletes coaches and more join our students for fun activities this month. We use this time to build security and love in our school family, and help the kids understand how all the parts of our community come together to create a great place to live.
